Purpose: St. Michael´s Pray Network was started in September 1982 as part of the RENEW program which was offered at that time. It was a phone tree and the chairpersons called people who called people. When more and more women went back into the work force or returned to school, it was decided to publish all requests on a weekly basis in the bulletin, with Father Mike´s and Chris Luchansky´s support. This way, all parishioners are members of the Network. We also have a list in the atrium for anyone to write their requests on. The intentions are also mentioned during Mass as the Prayer of the Faithful.
