Purpose: The #1 goal for the Bingo Program at St. Michael´s is to provide additional income for the church to use on programs needing financial assistance and also to be used towards the expenses for the new Education Wing.

Additional Information: Monday Night Bingo at St. Michael´s is a weekly event with approximately 60 volunteers for the Bingo program and an additional 15 volunteers assisting in the kitchen with food preparation and sales. Volunteers are divided into six teams so they only have to work one Monday night every six weeks. Duties range from selling bingo cards, being a floor worker, cashier, or the caller.

Some volunteers arrive at 5:30 pm to sell bingo cards and leave at 7:00 pm once Bingo starts. Other workers arrive at 6:30 pm and assist the caller by verifying the winner´s cards, selling addditional bingo cards and even help clean up the hall after the games are over. Kitchen workers usually arrive at 3:00–4:00 pm to prepare sandwiches, tea/coffee and other snacks available to sell to the patrons. Every week individuals prepare and donate homemade soups and desserts to sell. Profits made on food sales are donated to the Bingo program. Average attendance is approximately 60–70 people.
